Damage Assessment Class

Olathe Emergency Management is sponsoring a Damage Assessment class for Olathe CERT and ECS members on Wednesday June 30th at Olathe Fire Admin, 1225 S. Hamilton Circle starting at 6 PM.  The class should be over by 10 PM. 

The class will be composed of two parts:

(1) a presentation on the EF Scale and how National Weather Service (NWS) does damage assessments after storm damage is reported. This portion will be taught by Andy Bailey, Warning Coordination Meteorologist, from the NWS Office in Pleasant Hill, Mo. and
